Miss Teen Rodeo AZ

Mary Alyse Norton

HOWDY!

My name is Mary Alyse Norton, I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Arizona and have called Fort Mohave my home for the last 16 years. I have recently had the honor of being crowned Miss Teen Rodeo Arizona 2018-2019.  I am so incredibly excited to have this title as it allows me to represent my home state, the great sport of rodeo, and the western way of life everywhere I go!  I will travel many miles attending rodeos, making public appearances, and volunteering at charitable events.  Truly the best and brightest highlight of my reign will be to represent our great state of Arizona! This is my dream come true!

Being crowned Miss Teen Rodeo Arizona was the most unexplainable feeling! When I was younger, I would see Miss Rodeo Arizona at rodeos, and just like any little girl, I thought she was the most beautiful, graceful, most talented woman I could ever see! Just seeing her ride her horse was amazing, let alone getting the chance to meet her! Being on the other side is something that I wish every girl in the world could experience. It is an honor to be able to be the role model for others, and of course represent the entire state of Arizona!

Every moment matters! This is something that I have always told myself and tried to live by, but recently I have really turned this passion into something that I want to share with everyone I cross paths with. Making the most of every moment, cherishing every second you have while doing what you love, being your true self 100% of the time. As Miss Teen Rodeo Arizona, there will always be someone around that looks up to me or that wants to meet me, maybe needs a word of encouragement, has a question about the rodeo. I want to have a positive influence on all who come across my path. Whether I am in my crown and sash at a rodeo, or in jeans and a t-shirt at the grocery store, I feel it is SO important to be the same no matter what! Because sun up to sun down, every day, every night-- “EVERY MOMENT MATTERS!”

I look forward to seeing and meeting you at the next rodeo!
